MKRM Achieves New Milestone: 12 Additional Scopes Approved by DSM

CREAM dengan bangganya mengumumkan bahawa Jabatan Standard Malaysia (DSM) telah meluluskan 12 skop tambahan di bawah MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 untuk Makmal Kerja Raya Malaysia (MKRM) Kuala Lumpur dan Borneo, berkuat kuasa pada 18 Februari 2025. Pengembangan keupayaannya ini mengukuhkan peranan MKRM dan perkhidmatan pembinaan piawaian terkemuka.

Newly Approved Scopes

MKRM Kuala Lumpur:

  • Railway Track Material, Prestressed Concrete Sleepers – Rail seat vertical load test – AS 1085.14:2019, Annex E
  • Railway Track Material, Prestressed Concrete Sleepers – Centre negative bending moment test – AS 1085.14:2019, Annex H
  • Railway Track Material, Prestressed Concrete Sleepers – Centre positive bending moment test – AS 1085.14:2019, Annex I
  • Component of Frame Scaffolding – Deflection and bending test on catwalks (tread board) – MS 1462-1:2021, Annex H.1
  • Component of Frame Scaffolding – Load test on gripper fitting (hooks) of a catwalk (tread board) – MS 1462-1:2021, Annex H.2
  • Component of Frame Scaffolding – Compression test on vertical tube – MS 1462-1:2021, Annex E2

MKRM Sarawak:

  • Metallic Materials and Steel for Reinforcement of Concrete – Tensile Properties (Tensile Strength, Yield Strength, Elongation after Fracture, Elongation at Maximum Force) – MS ISO 6892-1:2017 Method B & MS ISO 15630-1:2012, Clause 5
