The Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) has always significantly supported facility management through various initiatives and programs.
During today’s Town Hall Meeting organised by the Malaysian Association of Facility Management (MAFM), Pn Zainora Zainal, Chief Executive of CIDB, presented “Facilities Management in Malaysia: An Emerging Economic Sector or a Missed Opportunity.” The president of MAFM, Dato’ Sri Zohari Hj. Akob, officials from the Ministry of Work, CIDB, and MAFM members were also in attendance.
CIDB remains committed to enhancing the facilities management industry and seeks support and feedback from industry players to achieve this. FM professionals are encouraged to improve their capacity through CIDB training programs and assist us in preparing FM cost data using the LCCsoft software.
