The FORGING PARTNERSHIPS session between the Republic of Zambia and Malaysia took place in conjunction with the International Construction Week (ICW) 2023 at MITEC Kuala Lumpur. The primary objective of the bilateral talks was to delve into the construction work opportunities available in Zambia.
The Minister of Infrastructure, Housing, and Urban Development, Hon. Eng. Charles Milupi, led the delegation from the Republic of Zambia. The Zambian team comprised 17 delegates, including representatives from ministries and associations associated with Zambia’s construction sector.Â
On the Malaysian side, Pn. Zainora Zainal, Senior General Manager, Technology Development Sector, CIDB Malaysia, led a delegation of 14 individuals. The Malaysian representatives included key players such as Exim Bank Malaysia Berhad, Aerodyne Group, MCC Overseas (M) Sdn. Bhd., Triterra Metropolis Sdn. Bhd., Meinhardt Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., The Veritas Design Group, Sunway Construction Sdn. Bhd., PETRONAS, Chartered Association of Building Engineers, and MBAM.
