The 11th Joint Committee between the Minister of Home Affairs and the Minister of Human Resources, No. 2/2024, has decided to whiten the registration of foreign workers in the construction sector who have yet to be registered as Construction Personnel at CIDB. This whitening period runs from May to December 2024.
Employers and foreign workers with Temporary Work Visit Permits (PLKS) in the construction sector who have not yet been registered have been identified. Employers are obliged to register foreign workers to avoid action under Act 520 and other relevant laws.
