Hextar Capital’s subsidiary, T & J Engineering Sdn. Bhd. has secured a significant RM97 million contract to construct student hostels at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan.
Hextar Capital Berhad has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, T & J Engineering Sdn. Bhd. has accepted a Letter of Award (LOA) from Landasan Kapital (M) Sdn. Bhd. The contract, valued at RM97 million, is for the construction of student hostels at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, located in Bachok, Kelantan. This project will involve comprehensive civil, structural, architectural, and mechanical works.
As the subcontractor, T & J Engineering will supply the materials, labour, tools, and equipment necessary for the construction. The project encompasses preliminary works, including piling and the construction of multiple blocks (Block 1 to Block 8), the principal’s accommodation, external works, and environmental protection works. This contract will positively impact Hextar’s earnings and net assets throughout the project.
