An important moment witnessed recently was the launch of the first Aluminum product to obtain CIDB’s Standard Compliance Certification (Perakuan Pematuhan Standard, PPS) that adheres to the MS832 and MS1017 standards. The Malaysian Façade Industry Association organised the product launch ceremony, which was held at LB Aluminum Berhad, Beranang, Semenyih.
The launching ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Sr Mohd Zaid Zakaria, Chief Executive of CIDB Malaysia. Also present were Pn. Zainora Zainal, Senior General Manager of the Technology Development Sector, Sr Nazir Muhamad Nor, General Manager of the Standard & Building Materials Division, and other CIDB officers.Â
The event was also held to promote compliance with the MS832 and MS1017 standards, which started on 1 September 2023. In addition, CIDB strongly encourages industry players to prioritise the use of local products to boost economic growth in the country.
