
CIDB Technologies Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia, received recognition as an Accredited Testing Facility by the American Welding Society (AWS) for its training facility in Johor Bahru.
As an AWS ATF-accredited testing centre, CIDB Technologies in Johor can now offer AWS-certified welder certification programmes in addition to the ISO Kompetensi Kemahiran Pembinaan (SKKP) from CIDB Malaysia. AWS Certified Welders are in high demand in the construction, oil & gas, aerospace, fabrication and shipping industries globally. Both SKKP and AWS certifications serve to enhance the employability and competitiveness of Malaysian professionals in the welding and construction sectors, meeting the needs of diverse industries at both national and international levels.
