The Malaysian Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) will organise the Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Awards (MCIEA) 2024 to celebrate the excellence of the nation’s construction industry participants.
The MCIEA has been held annually since its inception over 20 years ago. However, the event was postponed from 2020 to 2023 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This year, CIDB is once again organising the MCIEA as a recognition of all construction industry participants who have resiliently faced various challenges, especially during and after the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Dato’ Sr Mohd Zaid Zakaria, Chief Executive of CIDB Malaysia.
“MCIEA provides an opportunity for all construction industry participants to showcase their achievements in leading innovation, quality, and sustainability and to receive recognition for their contributions to the Malaysian construction industry,” he added.
Entries are open for the following categories:
1. Best Contractor Award (Contractors G1 to G6)
2. Best Project Award
- Infrastructure Project
- Building Project
3. International Achievement Award
4. Best Architect Award (Contractor G7)
5. Distinguished Figure Award
Entries for MCIEA 2024 can be submitted via the website www.mciea.my from April 4 until June 3, 2024.
