CIDB Malaysia and Qube Integrated Sdn Bhd hosted a briefing today at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) for ASEAN country representatives, inviting them to participate in the upcoming International Construction Week (ICW) and BuildXpo 2024.
Scheduled from October 22-24, 2024, ICW and BuildXpo 2024, themed “Envisioning the Future of Construction,” will feature various events, including exhibitions, conferences, seminars, networking sessions, business matching, competitions and industry awards.
Representatives from ASEAN countries are offered opportunities to exhibit in the ASEAN Pavilion and participate in the Global Opportunities Seminar, Business Matching, and Business Networking Session.
Madam Zainora Zainal, Deputy Chief Executive II of CIDB Malaysia, emphasised the strategic importance of ICW and BuildXpo as Malaysia prepares the Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025. The events are poised to be key highlights leading up to the ASEAN Summit Week. The attendees at the briefing sessions are Madam Aziza Rahmaniar Salam, Trade Attaché from the Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Alounmixay Keoboualapha, Third Secretary/PA to the Ambassador from the Embassy of Laos and Mr. Zeisse Lay, Diplomat – Third Secretary, Embassy of Timor-Leste.
