Construction Industry Delegation to Jakarta

CIDB Malaysia led a delegation of 12 Malaysian construction industry players to showcase their capacity and capabilities and enhance business networking with international players, especially in Indonesia. These construction-related companies participated as exhibitors at the CIDB Pavilion at Construction Indonesia 2024 (CI2024), held at the Jakarta International Expo (JIexpo) from 11 to 14 September. CIDB Deputy Chief Executive II, Puan Zainora Zainal, led the CIDB delegation.

Among the products and services exhibited under this pavilion are Industrialised Building Systems (IBS); service solution providers; Building Information Modelling (BIM); project consultant; construction engineering; advanced building materials and machinery; certification bodies; and other related construction technologies. The exhibiting companies and agencies are:

On the first day of the exhibition, the CIDB Pavilion received a visit from Mr. Andi Rizaldi, Chairman of the Indonesia-Jakarta Standardization and Service Center (BSJKI), Ministry of Industry, Indonesia.

CIDB has also arranged a business discussion session with PT Karunia Adhi Pradana. This expert agency provides consultancy services to government and private bodies related to construction, infrastructure development and attracting investment to Indonesia. Among the matters discussed was the potential to implement projects between Malaysia and Indonesia.

To maximise opportunities to promote Malaysian construction products and services primarily in Indonesia, a business networking programme involving several Indonesian agencies and a courtesy visit to the Malaysian Embassy in Indonesia will also be held.
