A total of 176 entries were received during the year for all categories of awards since the opening date of participation in August 2023, 4 December 2023: The Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) today celebrated the excellence of 17 journalists and photographers at the CIDB Construction Media Awards 2023 (AMP 2023). The Construction Media Awards ceremony was not possible during the COVID-19 pandemic that hit the country, so AMP 2023 was the first to be held since the end of the pandemic.
This year’s Construction Media Award (AMP) was the sixth time organised by CIDB Malaysia with the Ministry of Works (MoW). This award honours the media who have played an important role in raising awareness of the Malaysian Government’s initiatives in the construction industry.Â
The Minister of Works, YB Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, presented the award in conjunction with the Ministry of Works Media Appreciation Night. AMP aims to promote journalistic and mass media content about the construction industry. This includes content that discusses current issues related to the construction industry, such as safety, environmental sustainability, and use of technology, as well as other related topics.
